SAR: an expert in road markings in France…
SAR, a leading manufacturer in the country’s market for road marking products, has been harnessing its expertise to fulfil the needs of industry professionals since 1964. Based in Ronquerolles, northern France, we design, manufacture and market an end-to-end range of road marking products covering every application technique.
30% of all horizontal road markings applied in France were manufactured by SAR.
Our longstanding expertise, combined with the ability of our 10-strong R&D team to keep our company one step ahead of the innovation curve, has enabled SAR to cement its status as the market benchmark with an extended range of over 300 certified products (our plant produces 20,000 tons of certified products every year) in France and across Europe.

In the 1990s, we decided to focus our research efforts on developing eco-friendly solutions for our customers.
A comprehensive range of innovative solutions
SAR offers a wealth of solutions geared towards all road marking needs:
- Road paints: waterborne paint, solventborne paint without toluene or 2 component paint
- Coldplastic: manually applied, extruded or sprayed (single or two-component)
- Thermoplastics: for screed boxes, extrusion machines or spray machines
- Decorative coverings: coloured or gravelled
SAR also distributes a wide range of complementary products, including prefabricated strips, road studs, and devices for people with reduced mobility).

SAR’s products are distributed in over 40 countries worldwide.
We can draw on our manufacturing facilities with their annual production capacity of 35,000 tons, and a high-performance supply chain to fulfil our customers’ orders both in France and abroad.
