For everyone’s health and safety
The health and safety of our employees, who form the very backbone of our company, are central to all our commitments. Our safety management system integrates prevention into every level of the organisation and actively empowers managers and all staff to engage with the company’s continual improvement strategy.
Consequently, we manage the risks associated with producing, transporting and applying our products through tangible actions, such as:
- Removing CMR substances (carcinogenic, mutagenic and reprotoxic) from our formulations.
- Developing products that are harmless and non-toxic for users.
- Continually educating our teams on applicable best practices.
- Providing training for our partner applicators.

Safety Day(s)
Every year, we take part in VINCI Construction’s Safety Day(s) event, which shines the spotlight on occupational risk prevention and safety issues. During the event, our teams attend workshops to share their experiences and best practices.
The aim is to reinforce the right habits, raise greater awareness of the specific risks in our business activities and ensure that everyone prioritises safety on a daily basis.

Safety is a priority that requires constant vigilance, whether working alone or as part of a team. At SAR, we are convinced that training plays a key role in preventing accidents and fostering an enduring safety culture.
That is why every employee, irrespective of their position, follows an appropriate training pathway in line with their duties and work environment.

For environmental protection
Our environmental policy is aligned with the VINCI Group’s sustainable development strategy.
Our ISO 14001 certification confirms that we have implemented a rigorous environmental management system, which guarantees that we manage our impact and continually improve our practices. We are specifically taking action to:
- Reduce our carbon footprint
- Assess the life-cycle of our products in accordance with ISO 14044
- Offer innovative solutions, such as our certified bio-based products
- Provide eco-profiles to compare the environmental impact of our different technologies
We are also implementing the eco-employee policy to engage everyone with an eco-friendly approach on an everyday basis.


For quality
As part of its ISO 9001 certification, SAR is committed to implementing a rigorous organisational structure that pursues continual improvement with the aim of guaranteeing a high level of quality at every stage.
We design high-performance technical products and services through our dual expertise in formulations and application equipment.

For innovation
At SAR, innovation is used to raise performance and protect the environment. We have been developing waterborne products since 2003, and we offer paints with a very low volatile organic compound (VOC) content. Over 30 products have obtained the NF Environnement label for their environmental performance.
We are also blazing a trail with our packaging, such as recyclable inner bags, zero-waste hot-melt bags, and packaging designed to reduce the environmental impact.
Finally, we have developed a range of titanium dioxide-free products and low-temperature thermoplastics, while anticipating the health and regulatory challenges that lie ahead.

For ethical reasons
In keeping with the attitudes that influence our every action, we ensure that our activities bear the hallmarks of the exemplary conduct demonstrated by our employees. They all take the greatest of care to enforce our Code of Ethics and Conduct, both personally and in the teams under their responsibility.
