Performance measurements 

Road marking expert SAR has a highly qualified technical team specifically focused on taking and analysing road marking performance measurements.

Assistance technique

SAR has created a special applications department for its customers. This department’s main duties include:

• Providing technical support with applying the company’s products, and matching equipment and products 
• Product testing 
• Performance measurements 

These measurements comply with EN 1436 and include: 

• Retroreflected luminance (RL), which is measured under static and dynamic conditions (using a Zehntner retroreflectometer) 
• Retroreflected luminance in wet and rainy conditions according to the protocol for night-time visibility in rainy conditions 
• Skid resistance (SRT) 
• Luminance coefficient under diffuse illumination (Qd)
