TERMS OF SERVICE
This website (hereinafter the “Website”) is SAR’s corporate website, which presents the company’s core businesses.
The Website is provided to Users free of charge.
By continuing to browse the Website, Users indicate their unconditional acceptance of the terms of service (hereinafter the “ToS”) set forth below.
1. ACCESS TO THE WEBSITE
The Website is technically available twenty-four (24) hours a day and seven (7) days a week, subject to force majeure, potential outages and any maintenance operations required to ensure the correct performance of the Website.
To access some of the services offered on the Website, Users are required to complete the mandatory fields in the contact form. Users warrant that the information submitted via the contact form is truthful and accurate. To find out more about the use of their personal information, Users are invited to view the Personal Data Protection Policy.
Users acknowledge that they possess the necessary skills and resources to use the Website, including a computer and/or IT device (hereinafter the “Equipment”) with an Internet connection, whose settings allow the Website to function correctly.
Users represent and warrant that they are aware of the risks associated with browsing websites, which they accept, especially the risk that the information transiting over or stored on websites may be intercepted or altered beyond the Publisher’s control. Users warrant that they will take all necessary precautions to ensure their protection against the effects of any hacking attempts (such as by installing a regularly updated anti-virus software program).
2. USER’S GENERAL OBLIGATIONS
Users agree to use the Website in accordance with the ToS and especially refrain from using the Website for commercial, prospecting, solicitation or advertising purposes.
In particular, Users may not:
- Behave in a manner that is likely to affect the integrity, operation or security of the information system underlying the operation of the Website.
- Hack or attempt to hack into the information systems of the Publisher or any other VINCI Group company.
- Breach or attempt to breach the Website’s security measures.
- Collect, extract or use the information available on the Website in any way whatsoever.
- Generally commit any acts that are likely to infringe the rights and interests of the Publisher or any other VINCI Group company.
If a User violates any one of the foregoing obligations or uses the Website for fraudulent purposes, the Publisher may automatically terminate this contractual relationship without prior notice or compensation, and prevent that User’s future access to all or part of the Website.
3. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Users acknowledge that they have read and accepted the ToS before browsing the Website, and they agree to comply with the provisions herein.
Although the Publisher uses its best efforts to provide a reliable Website, it makes no warranties that the Website will be uninterrupted or free of errors, inaccuracies, omissions, flaws or defects.
Users acknowledge that they are solely responsible for using the Website and the content published. Users are solely responsible for their intended use of the Website as well as for ensuring the security and integrity of their data, Equipment and software when using the Website. Users are exclusively responsible for the hardware used to connect to the Website, and they must take all appropriate measures to protect their Equipment and data, especially against viruses on the Internet.
The Publisher disclaims any and all liability for any damage that may result from:
- Any malfunction or contamination of the User’s Equipment while browsing the Website.
- Any failures, outages, difficulties or disruptions preventing access to the Website or one of its features that can be attributed to the User’s Equipment, the Internet service provider, traffic congestion on the Internet, or any other reason beyond the Publisher’s control.
- Legal action taken against the User due to their use of the Website or their failure to comply with the ToS.
- Damage caused to the User, third parties and/or the Equipment used arising from the User’s connection or use of the Website.
- The costs of electronic or telephone communications resulting from the use of the User’s Equipment, for which Users will be solely liability.
- Any temporary or permanent disruptions to all or part of the Website’s features, especially in case of maintenance, modifications or updates to the Website, technical incidents and, more generally, any events beyond the Publisher’s control.
- Any consequences that may arise due to the content on the third-party websites that Users may visit by clicking on any hypertext links on the Website.
- Any damage incurred by the User or a third party where this Website is used other than in accordance with these ToS.
- Any consequential damage incurred by the User.
- Any breach of the obligations stipulated in these ToS that is due to or originates from an event beyond the Publisher’s reasonable control or force majeure as defined by Article 1218 of the French Civil Code.
If legal action is taken against the Publisher due to the User’s use of the Website, the Publisher may claim compensation from the User for all damages, amounts, penalties and costs that may arise from such legal action.
If the Publisher is held to be liable for any damage not provided for in this section, its liability will be limited to the certain, actual and direct damage caused, where a causal link is established between the Publisher and such damage. Under no circumstances may the Publisher, its directors, its employees and generally its representatives and partners, as well as any VINCI Group companies, be held liable for any consequential damage arising from the use of the Website, including its published content, and particularly for any loss of income, loss of profits, loss of opportunities, or damage resulting from the loss of data caused by any inability to use the Website.
4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Website, all its constituent elements and any elements made available to Users, particularly the trademarks, logos, photos, programs, source code, object code, data, database, still or animated images, sounds, drawings, graphics, videos, text, layout, appearance, and structure, as well as any other element not associated with hypertext links to third-party websites, are the property of the Publisher or subject to a licence granted to the Publisher by any holder of intellectual property rights.
All such elements are governed by the provisions of French and international intellectual property laws, especially the French Intellectual Property Code, and are consequently protected from any unauthorised use by law or these ToS, subject to legal action in the event of an infringement. All reproduction rights are reserved. The reproduction of all or part of this Website on any medium whatsoever is formally prohibited unless authorised by the Publisher.
The Publisher grants Users a personal, non-exclusive and free right to view and use the Website for their own use and in strict compliance with the operations authorised in the ToS.
Subject to the usage rights granted to the User by the Publisher, the use of the Website will not be construed as granting or assigning the User any licence or rights to the elements of the Website. In particular, Users are prohibited from copying, reproducing, representing, adapting, modifying or disseminating all or part of the Website, as well as all or part of its content, by any process and on any medium whatsoever, unless prior express authorisation has been obtained in writing from the Publisher or the holder of the intellectual property rights.
Any failure to comply with these provisions, especially for the purposes of commercial exploitation, may be subject to legal action from the relevant right holders based on a claim for infringement and/or unfair competition and/or free-riding. This will be without prejudice to the Publisher’s other rights, including the right to obtain compensation for the damage incurred.
5. AMENDMENTS
5.1. These ToS became effective on 13 October 2025. The Publisher may amend or update the ToS at any time, particularly to reflect changes to the Website or applicable legislation.
The applicable ToS are those published on the Website at the time of accessing the Website. Consequently, Users must view the ToS whenever they visit the Website.
This version of the ToS supersedes any previous versions.
5.2. To ensure the effective management of the Website, the Publisher may at any time:
- Suspend, interrupt or limit access to all or part of the Website, or reserve access to all or part of the Website to a specific category of Users.
- Delete any information that may disrupt the Website’s operation or contravene national or international laws.
- Suspend the Website for the purpose of installing updates.
6. COOKIE POLICY
Users are informed that when they visit the Website, a cookie may automatically be installed on their browser. A cookie is a block of data that does not allow Users to be identified, but which is used to record information relating to their navigation on the Website. This process is intended to allow the Publisher to track Users as they browse the www.sar.fr Website with the aim of delivering a better response to their needs and expectations.
Cookies are used to:
- Store login Information.
- Identify Users when visiting the Website.
- Gather information for displaying suitable ads.
- Memorise browsing preferences (language, font size, presentation and colours), so that Users can navigate the Website more quickly and easily.
- Collect analytical information, such as for counting the number of visitors to the Website or identifying the most visited pages for marketing and resource planning purposes.
- Determine whether Users are easily adapting to changes to the Website.
Cookies are used to collect information about how Users use the Website. The Publisher does not store any information allowing Users to be personally identified. Only a unique session identifier is saved for the purpose of remembering Users and their preferences during their next visit.
Types of cookies:
- Session cookies: are temporarily stored on the User’s computer or device during the browsing session and deleted at the end of the session.
- Permanent cookies: stay longer on the User’s computer. These cookies are used to recognise the User.
The menu options on most browsers allow Users to configure the cookie settings, with the possibility of:

- Authorising cookies.
- Disabling all cookies or only specific cookies.
- Disabling all cookies when Users close their browser.
- Blocking cookies.
- Receiving a notification when a cookie is stored.
If Users block cookies, most of the Website’s features will be disabled, which may affect the browsing experience. Deleting cookies removes their browsing preferences when the browser is closed. Unless Users have defined specific settings, the system will issue cookies as soon as they visit the Website.
7. HYPERLINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES OR EXTERNAL SOURCES
7.1. The Website may include hypertext links to websites or Internet sources other than those published by the Publisher. Insofar as the Publisher cannot control such websites or external sources, it may not be held liable. As such, the Publisher disclaims any and all liability for the content, advertisements, products, services or any other material available on or from these external sources or websites. The decision to activate the hypertext links lies exclusively with the User. External websites or sources are subject to their own terms of service.
Any information that can be accessed via a link to other sites is not under the Publisher’s control, who disclaims any and all liability for their content.
7.2. Users are strictly prohibited from creating any hypertext links to all or part of the Website without prior written authorisation from the Publisher, which must be requested by email at the following address: communicationder@vinci-construction.com.
The Publisher is free to refuse such authorisation without having to provide any justification whatsoever for its decision. If the Publisher grants authorisation, it will be temporary in all cases and may be withdrawn at any time, without any obligation for the Publisher to justify its decision.
In all cases, any links must be removed if requested by the Publisher.
8. VALIDITY OF THE TERMS OF SERVICE
Each of the sections in these ToS applies separately. If any one of the provisions in these ToS is held to be invalid following changes to applicable regulations or pursuant to a decision by a court of law or competent authority, the other provisions will remain in full force and effect. Such a change or decision will under no circumstances permit Users to disregard the valid provisions of these ToS.
9. GOVERNING LAW / JURISDICTION
The ToS and all operations arising therefrom will be governed, construed and applied in accordance with French law.
If the ToS are translated, the French version will control in the event of a dispute.
In the event of any dispute whatsoever, the Publisher and the User will use their best efforts to reach an amicable arrangement prior to taking any legal action and will provide each other with all the necessary information for this purpose.
If the Publisher and User fail to reach an amicable solution within two (2) months of receiving notice of the dispute by either party, the dispute will be referred to the Courts of Nanterre, which will have exclusive jurisdiction and venue, subject to public policy provisions.
